What is www.LaRockaSolida.com about ?

La Rocka Sólida (The Solid Rock) is a 'cyber-place' for all the Latin fans of the best Christian Hard Rock and Heavy Metal bands of ever. Why? What for? Well, these bands are just amazing, and of course they have many Latin fans across the world. And as we're talking about Christian bands it is evident that the main target of all what they do - albums, shows, tours, etc - is the Message they want to spread out, but sometimes Latin fans have some problems to get that Message (because of the language), and that's the reason of the site. We have many sections and do different things here on LRS, but everything's focused on helping the Latin rockers get the Message of these bands music (the Lord's Message) and be changed and encouraged by it, with every song, every day, through this long way home.

          The strongest sections of LRS are the huge banks of lyrics translated into Spanish (dozens and dozens of songs of each band), but we also have some interviews, the detailed story of the bands (as a testimony of the way the Lord works through the years), and interesting articles - from a 'rocker' point of view - about important issues of the Faith, life, etc. EVERYTHING we have and present on LRS is in Spanish, and line by line it always have the spiritual growing of our guests as the main objective - and of course, we bring our guests the best Hard Rock and Heavy Metal all the time and all over the site ;-)

          We all know Hard Rock and Heavy Metal are not the most popular sounds nowadays, but we really believe the best things always stay, so we're doing our part to keep the Hard & Heavy still making noise so the new generations can know it and enjoy it just like us.

OK, this far you already have a general idea of what LRS is about. So if you are a member of one of these legendary bands and would like to give us a little interview or just tell something to our guests, well, it would be cool! Please contact us! On the other hand, if you're just a Hard & Heavy listener and want to help us someway, yeah! There are many ways you can help us, one of the most helpful is sending us the lyrics of some of those old and hard-to-get albums (hard at least here in Latinamerica) so we can translate them into Spanish (albums of bands such as Angelica, Joshua, The Brave, Scott Wenzel, Sin Dizzy, X-Sinner, etc).
